Minimum Qualifications:

  • Telecomunications or Computer Science Engineer
  • Intermediate to advance English Level
  • Good communications skills
  • 3+ years minimum experience in voice engineering
  • Experience troubleshooting VoIP and delay sensitive traffic in complex environments
  • Experience working with Linux environments, linux sysadmin level is desired
  • Experience with CTI integration with Asterisk
  • Experience with VoIP protocols including SIP, IAX, etc.
  • Strong SQL baseline.
  • Deep knowledge of Asterisk as a Telephony Engine.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a fast pace environment and deploy network services in a short time-frame
  • Ability to prepare detailed documentation, experience developing road-maps, proposals and recommendations
  • Experience with Visio Professional

Telecomunications or Computer Science Engineer. A master degree in related fields is desired but not a must. We are looking for an experienced engineer with a solid educational and professional background. This engineer will administer and maintain our Voice Infrastructure platform, work on the architecture of it and lead the implementation of new projects (including new technologies, resources, equipment, etc). A person with the ability to travel and go to any of the sites when necessary. Asterisk and networking (Cisco) certifications are also required.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Serve as high point of escalation to incidents in the VoIP Infrastructure (Technical related).
  • Identifying and Troubleshooting potential problems in our VOIP Core and Services.
  • Identification, diagnosis, and resolution of VoIP system issues.
  • Configuration, deployment, maintenance of VoIP system components and software.
  • Configuration, deployment, and management of VoIP system monitoring.
  • Documentation of VOIP Services architecture, design, and other system related documentation.
  • Responsible for Mentoring junior engineers and developing “how to” guides.
  • Develops and produces reports, including ACD and telephony usage.
