Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 3-5 Years in software, preferably SaaS product management or similar in ERC Business lines.
  • A record of self-motivation, team participation, and a get-it-done attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, and in the constantly evolving AI Ecosystem.
  • Ability to proactively interact with and motivate peers.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Potential but not frequent travel to client sites and other locations where we observe and talk to users.

Job Summary:

 

ERC is looking for a high-energy Product Manager to work with the Recovery and Customer Care LOBs on our Product Management team.  The role will be focused on growing utilization of the ERC AI Ecosystem to drive business outcomes that align with the ERC strategy and business objectives.

You will guide a team that works on increasing the utilization of the AI ecosystem from existing products to developing new products for the company.  You will analyze build, buy, and partner opportunities to enhance and expand the product portfolio, and help develop new ideas based on your industry experience and ongoing contact with our clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a product vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time with market and internal business stakeholders to understand their challenges and design innovative solutions.

Effective communication with all areas of the company, including the executive team, is essential. You will work with software development counterparts to define product release requirements, with marketing communications to develop product content, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, case studies, and target customer/user. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with sales and clients. 

Key responsibilities
  • Learn and communicate what is possible to deliver value and simplify the user experience.
  • Work with key stakeholders to development KPIs, ROI models and pricing that align with Recovery and Customer Service business objectives and ERC Strategy.
  • Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Specify market/business requirements for current and future products by conducting market and competition research, supported by ongoing visits with business users, leaders and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Drive a solution set across Development, Operations, and Marketing teams through market requirements, positioning, messaging, and roadmap planning.
  • Work with designers, developers, and stakeholders to facilitate discovery, workshops, design sprints, research, and design reviews.
  • Participate in status meetings with department leaders and key stakeholders to understand business requirements and shape roadmap planning.
  • Document business needs, market opportunities, and user stories.
  • Participate in sophisticated sales demos and in-depth conversations with the sales team and prospects regarding product functionality.
  • Analyze potential partner relationships for the product.
  • Work closely with product leadership and other product managers, conduct daily standups, and respond to internal inquiries and issues with the product. Primary contacts internally will be the Head of Collections (COO), SVP of Recovery Operations, Director of Strategic Projects & Initiatives, SVP of Client Solutions, Global QA Senior Director, and the Chief Strategy Officer.
  • Reports to the Chief Product Officer.
