Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work with all levels of the corporation.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience conducting data analysis or similar experience.
  • Programming Languages – SQL required, Python a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, with the ability to think and work independently.
  • Demonstrated experience working with data sets to develop performance metrics and objectives.
  • Ability to prioritize efficiently while multi-tasking, dealing with interruptions and working in a high paced energetic environment.
  • Have prior experience developing the tracking, reporting, historical reporting of risk and legal data.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a face paced environment.
  • Must demonstrate results delivery, team building, and collaboration
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Schedule flexibility.

The Legal Business and Data Analyst will collect, organize, analyze, and interpret data for the Legal Department.  They will identify key indicators and trends and will put into place processes and procedures to reduce adverse financial and reputational implications to ERC. The Analyst will also have a clear understanding of the regulations that apply to our industry.  This role is dedicated to the Legal department and is responsible for the prioritization of the changes and improvements, reporting, and monitoring. Scope of responsibility may vary as the needs dictate, from all Legal to specified areas of Legal. They will act as an essential communication avenue for risk matters between multiple functional departments and the Director of Risk Management and Sr. Director of Legal accordingly.



Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Data collection, reporting and tracking of High Priority changes for the business.
  • Provide analysis assuring improved productivity, cost effectiveness, reduction in risk.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships across business units.
  • Perform activities that include the documentation and oversight of end-to-end workflow process.
  • Assist in process development and measures to provide reporting dashboards.
  • Assist in workflow changes and process improvements as needed.
  • Streamline communications and provide timely information to cross functional departments.
  • Act as a liaison between the business and IT to expedite throughput of changes.
  • Assist Legal Management with administrative tasks.
  • Assist in legal matter discovery data pulls and must have experience with SQL
