Minimum Qualifications:


  • Associates or Bachelor's (or equivalent) degree in Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • CIA, CISA, CFSA, CCSA, CRISC, CRMA or other industry standard audit certifications a plus, but not required.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance, Auditing, Compliance, or call center Operations related activities preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills both oral and written in English and Spanish; Strength in collaborating within team and cross-functionally up to and including the executive leadership level.
  • Strong ability to prioritize, plan, and execute.
  • Ability to read and interpret regulations, laws, contracts, statements of work, and business requirements.
  • Ability to multi-tasks while maintaining careful attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and address competing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and SharePoint.

The Internal Audit Analyst is responsible for researching and auditing ERC’s policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with internal controls, client requirements, and government regulations for ERC’s outsourcing and recovery projects. 


Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Responsible for the inspection and re-inspection of ERC business processes to ensure ERC maintains the highest quality of service; regulatory compliance; compliance with client Master Service Agreements, Standards of Work, and Service Level Agreements; and ERC company policies.
  • Deliver recurring audits, audit feedback, and audit remediation plans to the impacted business units based on task schedule.
  • Conduct in-depth audit of ERC personnel to ensure consistent compliance with and adherence to regulatory, client, and company requirements regarding backgrounds, drug screening, training requirements, etc.
  • Conduct in-depth audit of ERC’s Compliance Management System to ensure policies meet regulatory, client and company standards.
  • Assist ERC’s External Audit Analyst with external audit requests from clients, regulators and third parties.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Client Audit Tracker (CAT) to ensure all external and internal scores and defects are recorded accurately.
  • Complete Disaster Hold Audits as needed to ensure consumers are not contacted during a state of emergency.
  • Conduct in-depth audit of ERC’s state licenses to ensure they are submitted accurately, up to date and meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Assist auditors with the completion of internal state audits. 
  • Ensure that ERC’s Financial Statements are completed timely and submitted to states within the required deadlines.
  • Complete departmental audits based on risks, requirements, audit findings, and as needed.
  • Deliver completed audits to impacted business units and Process Owners for development of remediation plans, review remediation plans, and thorough follow-up and re-inspection of any audit defects.
  • Conduct meetings of audit findings with business units/process owners to discuss audit defects and necessary remediation actions.
  • Keep management up to date on all defect findings and defect risk criticality.
  • Provide thorough feedback on audit findings and provide a recommended solution.
  • Other duties as assigned.
