Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Student of computer systems, administration or related careers (preferred).
  • 1+ years’ experience in related field.
  • Proven organizational skills and demonstrated computer proficiency.
  • Understanding of File Transfer Protocols.
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Attention to detail a must.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Understanding of basic IT jargon.

The File Processor I, is responsible for overseeing all inbound/outbound file transmissions to and from ERC (Recovery), while consistently protecting the best interest of ERC, its clients, and its employees. It is expected that all ERC employees represent the highest level of professionalism, understanding that they will always act legally, morally, and ethically. Additionally, it is vital to understand that every Enhanced Resource Centers employee plays a pivotal role in protecting the security of ERC’s information and learns their information security responsibilities as defined in ERC’s Information Security Policy.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Import/ export/ transmit/ receive data to/from clients, vendors, and other specified parties, as assigned.
  • Identifies and reports missing, late, corrupt, or otherwise unusable files or data and works directly with IT or management for resolution.
  • Executes ad-hoc requests or remediation requirements.
  • Perform account research and analysis on assigned clients as necessary, while utilizing the department ticketing queue, or in response to email correspondence.
  • Process and validate assigned deliverables by balancing to internal reports, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, within client-specified timeframes and guidelines.
  • Research and reconcile client requests and issues that are communicated directly to you, the department distribution list, or the department ticketing queue.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures, while communicating process failures and potential improvements to your team lead or manager.  Update version history where required, to ensure accurate process documentation, per ERC guidelines.
  • It is expected that all ERC employees represent the highest level of professionalism, understanding that he or she will always be expected to act legally, morally, and ethically.
  • Continuously drives company goals and pillars.
  • Other duties as assigned.
