Minimum Qualifications:

 

• Advance English Skills (C level – CEFR Scale)
• Internal Candidates: Minimum of 6 months at ERC
• 3+ years’ experience in Collections, Sales, and Customer Service Training necessary.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills both oral and written in English and Spanish;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and SharePoint.

This position maximizes call center employee’s effectiveness by ensuring employees have thorough knowledge of the English language, encouraging and engaging students to speak English to excel in their current or desired program. Ideal candidate profile:


•High energy.
•ESL Certification preferred.
•Knowledgeable about existing and emerging training methods/tools.
•Coaching and mentoring experience preferred.
•Strong presentation skills.
•Ability to develop employees through positive motivation and training.
•Strong ability to build rapport and listen attentively to the needs of employees.
•Comfortable with delivering corrective action.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

• Plans, conducts, coordinates and implements a comprehensive English training program for new hires and existing employees. Training components will be geared toward new hires, existing staff and individuals who seek or need one-on-one assistance.
• Employ a variety of instructional techniques and strategies to meet different aptitudes and interests of employees.
• Develops individual results by maintaining policy and procedure resources; providing coaching; conducting training sessions; developing outcome improvement resources.
• Active Verbal communication in classroom environment, 8 to 9 hours each scheduled workday.
• Sitting and standing positions 8-9 hours each scheduled workday.
• Must be flexible with the ability and willingness to work late evenings, early mornings and weekends. Must be able to travel to other call centers sites.
• Support development of English training plans and curriculum.
