Minimum Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Possess some intermediate skills in Excel
  • Familiar with HR platforms such as ADP a plus
  • At least 2 years of related human resources or administrative experience
  • Able to type at least 35 words per minute


  • Associate Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration
  • Professional Certifications in Human Resources a plus

The Employee Resource Assistant will undertake an administrative roll supporting the day to day operations of the Employee Resource Group. Duties include conducting compliance audits of employee files, filing medical notes, and monitoring updates to federal, state, and local employment laws such as, leave, workers’ compensation, workplace safety, discrimination, and harassment. The Employee Resource Assistant will join a dynamic organization aimed at maintaining a positive and safe working environment.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Audits employee data, new hire folders, I-9s and background checks
  • Catalogs and references documents in an organized manner
  • Reconciles information and enters data into reports and system platforms
  • Manages department’s Outlook account, distributes mail, and monitors phone messages
  • Collects, prepares and distributes information for unemployment claims, legal proceedings, leaves of absence, corrective actions, and grievances
  • Assists in the administration of employee benefits and responds to employee inquiries or requests
  • Serves as witness during the administration of corrective actions or counseling sessions
  • Monitors any updates to federal, state, and local employment laws such as leave, workers’ compensation, workplace safety, discrimination, and harassment
  • Demonstrates the ability to work with a sense of urgency, adapts quickly to change while maintaining careful attention to detail and meets deadlines by adhering to the work schedule
  • Collaborates and communicates effectively and efficiently with supporting departments through face to face interactions, audio and video conferences, and written communications
  • Analyzes, interprets, and presents information in a resourceful manner and timely manner
  • Follows instructions, responds to management direction, and demonstrates improved performance through management feedback
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects the business by keeping employee information confidential
  • Able to travel to various worksites (10%)
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance and can work shifts exceeding 8 hours, 5 days per week
  • Performs other duties as assigned, as these responsibilities in not meant to be all inclusive
  • Physical Demands:

Work is sedentary in nature, which involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time while working on a computer, using a keyboard, mouse, video communication devices, phone, and other office equipment.
