Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representatives interact with customers via inbound calls for the purpose of assisting them with their current account, as well as, uncovering opportunities to promote and cross sell other products and services. 



Responsibilities (Who we're looking for)

  • Strive to meet highest level of customer satisfaction by resolving customer’s issue in professional & timely manner
  • Meet customer requirements through first contact resolution
  • Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy while maximizing opportunity to build rapport with the customer
  • Follow a sales process to uncover customer needs across all products and services, present a customized recommendation, and overcome objections to close the sale
  • Maintain broad knowledge of products, pricing, promotions, procedures, and other important issues
  • Able to multitask through multiple systems while interacting with customers
  • Update customer records
  • Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance
  • Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements

Qualifications (Why this position)

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 months-1 year of customer service experience.  Banking, processing, mortgage, and/or loan experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn new products and systems
  • Have intermediate typing skills
  • Ability to work in a professional, fast-paced environment
  • Have a clear criminal background and be able to pass a drug screen
  • Ability to manage multiple computer programs, actively listen, converse with customers while typing and      updating accounts
  • Ability to learn on the fly, listen and apply problem solving skills
  • Have a team oriented mindset while building productive relationships
  • Ability to interact with all types of customers and provide the best resolutions
  • Have a positive, professional, empathetic and customer-focused approach
