Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Degree or preferred Associates (or equivalent) degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Business, management, and training experience preferred.
  • CIA, CISA, CFSA, CCSA, CRISC, CRMA or other industry standard certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance, Auditing, or Compliance related activities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills both oral and written; Strength in collaborating within team and cross-functionally up to and including the executive leadership level.
  • Strong ability to prioritize, plan, execute and assist/manage project from its onset.
  • Ability to read and interpret regulations, laws, contracts, statements of work, and business requirements.
  • Ability to maintain careful attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and address competing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and SharePoint.

Position Summary


The Legal and Compliance Analyst (LCA) works directly with the Legal and Compliance Manager (LCM), Sr. Director of Legal and Vice President of Legal and Compliance to assist and ensure ERC is current and compliant on all legal and regulatory landscape changes. The LCA researches regulatory and industry news, findings, and rulings to evaluate the impact and needs of the organization. Also, will analyze possible outcomes, recommend changes, devise implementation and remediation plans which are necessary to keep ERC compliant. LCA also helps maintain states compliance in relation to its many segments of licensure, bonds, and federal/state/local registrations.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists LCM with internal State and Federal Law repository and monthly updates, identifying any changes needed for ERC to maintain compliance.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining State Audit forms on an annual basis or as needed.
  • Assists LCM with Internal Audit on State Audit and other audit remediation needs.
  • Assists with preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing vast array of information relative to the business’s compliance scope.
  • Works with LCM to develop and maintain the licensing and states presence procedures and needs for ERC and its subsidiaries.
  • Assists with identifying procedural deficiencies and help carry out solutions when identified.
  • Assists in gathering information for LCM in all legal and regulatory compliance audits.
  • Assists with analyzing all new regulations or regulatory updates, whether they be state or federal, assesses the impact to the organization and reports findings to the LCM.
  • Helps Carry out the creation of legal and regulatory controls.
  • Keeps ERC’s interests top of mind and seeks to protect ERC through daily job duties.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
