Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server 2016/20019.
  • Support and development of ETL processes.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them clearly to individuals with varied backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Experience on windows server OS, Active Directory and PowerShell.
  • Advanced knowledge of T-SQL including very complex SQL queries (ex: using various joins and sub-queries) and best practices.
  • Experience developing and supporting SSIS packages.
  • Experience with advanced query design, stored procedures, views, and functions.
  • Familiar with technologies like Diyotta.
  • Strong problem diagnosis and resolution skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a fast-paced environment and deploy network services in a short timeframe.

Canditate must hold a degree on Computer Science Engineering, Systems Engineering or within the software development field. We are looking for a very talented engineer to provide support to the ERC ecosystem of applications and ETL processes across the enterprise. Work directly with Development and Engineering to find fixes and workarounds for users. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Provide timely, professional, and high-quality customer service to users by gathering information from the user, evaluating and prioritizing issues to determine which can be immediately resolved and which require escalation to appropriate departments.
  • Research failed ETL processes and application issues reported by users via our ticketing system or automated alerting system. Report any failure to the corresponding process owner. Track the issue until resolution.
  • Create functional specifications on Azure DevOps (TFS) for issues that require programming changes so they can be efficiently handle by our software development staff.
  • Create technical documentation of issue fixes and processes.
  • Perform data cleanup and correction on production databases due to failed ETL processes.
  • First layer support for Business applications.
  • Provide daily reporting to the management of SQL processes success/failure status.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
  • Independently research complex issues pertaining to cases and reach out to coworkers when additional help is required.
  • Provide daily operational support and administration of production and non-production environment.
  • Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
